What’s this?

As anyone who plays World of Warcraft with any kind of regularity knows, there is much amusement to be had in the various chat channels. On my server, most of the amusement takes place in the Trade channel. After spending a lot of time copying and pasting trade gems to friends who more or less didn’t care, I thought it would be fun to keep a blog of all the amusing happenings in Azeroth. Please feel free to contribute your own funny quotes by e-mailing them to me at overheard@inbox.com. Include the name of the person who’s being quoted, if possible, and the channel it was found on, unless it’s a screenshot. Please also include the name you’d like to be mentioned by in the posting.

Also, please note that, at least on my server, the default channel for Trade is channel 2. Hence, you’ll often see [2] preceding the names of the speakers.

If you find yourself on this site and would like your name removed, please let me know. I will be more than happy to substitute “Unknown” for your name.
